Make your own smart LED arrangement with the same integrated LED that is used in our NeoPixel strip and pixels. This tiny 5050 (5mm x 5mm) RGB LED is fairly easy to solder and is the most compact way possible to integrate multiple bright LEDs to a design.
Pin 1, ground. SK6812/NeoPixel 5050 datasheet pin configuration lists GND as ground.
Pin 2, control data signal input. Datasheet describes DIN receiving the 24-bit serial data stream from the controller.
Pin 3, power supply for the integrated RGB LED/control circuit.
Pin 4, control data signal output for cascading to the next pixel.
