RGB LCD Shield Kit w/ 16x2 Character Display - Only 2 pins used!

This new Adafruit shield makes it easy to use a 16x2 Character LCD. We really like the RGB LCDs we stock in the shop both the RGB negative and RGB positive.

Shield 5 V supply pin for detached use; source says power the 5V pin with 5V.

SCL
I2C clock; guide says connect the SCL labelled pin to I2C clock. Also maps to A5 on Uno, D21 on Mega, and D3 on Leonardo.

LCD/keypad via MCP23017
The MCP23017 I2C port expander drives the 16x2 LCD and UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT/SELECT/RESET buttons, so only the I2C/power pins are needed from the host.
