Is the target circuit single-data-line DHT or I2C? Do not cross that boundary without redesigning wiring and firmware.
Confirm supply voltage, board logic level, pull-up/module assumptions, and sensor read interval.
Compare pin order, cable/connector, mikroBUS/Grove/Gravity footprint, and physical package.
Set the correct library sensor type, or switch libraries entirely for DHT20/AHT20.
Use the vendor source URL and datasheet as the final authority before production.
