Breadboards
Solderless breadboards are for proving ideas. Once a circuit works, Perma-Proto and protoboard let you keep it without rebuilding it from scratch.
Solderless options run from 830- and 400-point boards to 4.5×3.5 cm minis and self-adhesive translucent boards. Adafruit Perma-Proto PCBs copy breadboard rail layout onto solderable copper, so a working layout transfers directly. SMT adapters bridge QFN, TQFP and SSOP parts to 2.54 mm.
- The Adafruit Perma-Proto Half-sized Breadboard PCB is the most-referenced part in the group. It mirrors breadboard rails on a solderable PCB so a working layout transfers one-to-one; the Small Mint Tin 3-pack covers tight builds.
- Solderless boards include 830- and 400-point options, 4.5×3.5 cm minis and self-adhesive translucent boards. Pimoroni's Breadboard Base for Pibow mounts a Raspberry Pi and breadboard on a single plate.
- SMT parts reach 2.54 mm spacing via Adafruit's SMT Breakout PCB for QFN or TQFP, the SparkFun SSOP-to-DIP adapter, and Seeed's xQFP 0.8 mm and QFP surface-mount protoboards.
