Boosted shield output rail for Arduino, Adafruit Learn states the boost section takes 3-4V LiIon/LiPoly input and boosts it to 5.2V before a Schottky diode drops it to about 5V.
Ground reference for the PowerBoost shield and stacked Arduino.
LiIon/LiPoly battery input via the shield battery connector; Learn describes 3-4VDC input from the battery into the boost section.
Micro USB connector used to charge the battery; Adafruit Learn says plugging Arduino USB will not charge the battery and the shield microUSB charge rate is up to 500mA.
Optional booster enable switch connection. Learn states a custom switch can be soldered to the middle pin and the pin right below it; the switch carries signal, not power.
Solder jumper that can route battery voltage to one Arduino analogue input for monitoring low battery ahead of time.

Verify supply voltage and logic levels before powering up.
Module pins: 5V output, BAT / JST battery input, Micro USB charge input, GND, Battery monitor solder jumper. Schematik maps them to your board in the app.
Single-cell LiPo chargers (TP4056, MicroUSB/Type-C modules), charger/booster combos (PowerBoost 500/1000, Lipo Rider Plus 5V/2.4A), I2C fuel gauges (MAX17048, LC709203F) and Qi wireless charging coils.
