Terms of service

The rules for using Schematik.

Last updated: November 5, 2026

Using Schematik

These terms apply when you use schematik.io, the Schematik apps, and Schematik's connectors for AI assistants, all run by Schematik B.V. (Kraijenhoffstraat 135-A, 1018 RG Amsterdam, the Netherlands; KvK 99888114). By using any of them, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

Keep your login safe; you are responsible for what happens under your account.

Your projects

You own the prompts you write and the projects you make. You give us permission to store, process and display them as needed to run Schematik, including sending them to the AI providers that generate your projects.

When you publish a project to the community, anyone can view and remix it.

AI output and hardware

Schematik uses AI to suggest code, wiring and parts. It can be wrong. Check wiring, voltages and code before you power anything on or flash a board.

Electronics can damage parts, start fires or hurt people when built incorrectly. You build and use hardware at your own risk.

Parts, prices and links

Part details, prices and stock come from shops and manufacturers and can be out of date. A shop's own page is the final word on price and availability.

Links to other sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or terms.

AI assistants and connectors

You can connect Schematik to assistants such as Claude or ChatGPT. Public build guides and parts are available without signing in. If you sign in, the assistant can read your own projects, and nothing else; it cannot change them. You can disconnect it at any time in the assistant.

Your assistant's provider handles your conversation under its own terms.

Fair use

Do not break the law with Schematik, try to access other people's data, disrupt the service, get around limits, or scrape it at a scale that harms other users.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

The service

We are improving Schematik all the time, so features may change or stop. We provide Schematik as it is, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date above.
