Workbench essentials

Sort prototyping boards, jumper leads, LEDs, controller boards, drivers, sensors, RTC modules and storage breakouts by job before treating them as substitutes.

Can I swap these?

Pick the board you have - we'll show what we know about swapping it.

Known swap options (1)

General board checks (5)
  • Name the job first: building a circuit, adding an indicator, driving addressable RGB, measuring temperature, controlling a motor, switching a load, keeping time or adding storage.
  • Match the required interface: solder pads, header gender, analog voltage, single-wire RGB data, SPI, USB, GPIO or motor coil outputs.
  • Check voltage, current, heat, connector pitch, breadboard fit, required resistors, firmware library and whether the board needs a separate controller.
  • Do not swap a passive part for an active module, or a module for a bare component, just because the package looks similar.
  • Use the linked product page or guide for final pinout, ratings and library details before buying.
