Decoupling Capacitor
Generic two-terminal capacitor used across power rails to reduce supply noise. Exact capacitance and voltage rating should be selected per circuit.

Connect to one side of the rail or signal being decoupled.

Connect to the return side, usually ground. Observe polarity for polarised capacitors.
